WHAT IS GLAMPING BY WINGS ?
Beyond the association of two words: the first syllable of the word Glamour and the second of the word Camping, glamping is a new trend in outdoor tourism that combines luxury and nature, comfort and respect for the environment, and plays the atypical card by offering accommodation "off the beaten track".
We therefore offer you the opportunity to stay in the heart of nature, without giving up comfort and with little risk of contagion.
In view of the health situation, we are well aware that the journey has become difficult, if not impossible in view of the restrictions. We have organised trips all over the world. During many of these, we have arranged unusual overnight stays (in Tanzania, Costa Rica, Mongolia, Myanmar, Camargue, Philippines...) These are the experiences that have most marked the minds of our clients, much more than more traditional luxury establishments. Harmony and proximity to the environment are important factors. The current health crisis reinforces even more these needs to be closer to nature.
Today, more than ever, we need to escape. We wanted to compile the beautiful experiences lived throughout the world and share them with you in the heart of our beautiful region.
We offer you 3 tents, nicely decorated to live a nature experience as a couple or as a family. We wish to offer you a return to your roots, in all simplicity in order to refocus on the essentials.
SANITARY :
Each tent has an individual dry toilet nearby.
WATER :
Each tent has a water supply and an outdoor solar shower.
FURNITURE AND BED LINEN :
All the bed linen is at your disposal: warm duvets, plaids, pillows, cushions, towels. The beds are made on your arrival.
HEATING:
Each tent has its own wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided.
ELECTRICITY
The tents are connected to electricity and have solar and battery-powered lamps.
KITCHEN
The tents are equipped with a plancha barbecue, a small fridge and crockery.
FACILITIES
Glamping is installed in the heart of the woods in the Philippeville region (in Franchimont). It is the ideal calm and soothing place to meet as a couple or family.
This environment in the middle of nature will also allow you to recharge your batteries in a forest environment. You can of course stroll around the estate but there are also many activities to do in the area: some of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, abbeys, micro-breweries, a wine estate, the Eau d'Heure dams... are located within a radius of 20-25 kilometres.
You will find in your tent a guide to our "coup de coeur" curiosities to discover. We also provide you with a series of addresses of different restaurants, shops... in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you wish, we can also take care of booking different activities (or a tour) for you. Do not hesitate to contact us.
WHERE ?
OUR TENTS
Sibley tents are the best canvas tents for glamping. Made of high quality 100% cotton canvas, the tents have a conical shape. They combine wind and rain resistance with a unique central pole design. Small side walls give the tent its characteristic conical shape and more interior space for people and equipment.
We offer you 2 "imperial" tents, oval and fitted out for 4 people (1 double bed and 2 single beds). With its two central poles and two doors, the tent measures 6m by 4m for a surface area of 20.5m2. The oval shape creates two "wings" on either side of a central space. It is the perfect solution for a family.
We also have a round Sibley tent with a diameter of 5m and a floor area of 19.6m2. This one is equipped with a double bed and will be the ideal cocoon for a romantic evening or weekend.

THE PRICE INCLUDES :

Our tents can accommodate 2 to 4 people. They have one double bed in the round tent; one double bed and two single beds in the imperial (oval) tents.

Bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation.

A brazier barbecue is available on the terrace of the accommodation. Wood is provided.

Our tents are equipped with a wood-burning stove so that you can enjoy the place even if the temperature drops. Firewood is provided.

Private dry toilets are available next to each accommodation.

A solar shower is at your disposal. This is connected to running water and is therefore not limited. However, the shower has a 30-litre water tank heated by the sun (up to 50° depending on the amount of sunshine).

There is also a water reserve in the tent which you can use for washing up (a toilet jug is available), or washing up. If the weather conditions make it difficult to use the outdoor shower, you can refresh yourself in your tent. You can heat your water with your brazier and/or wood stove.

Crockery for 2 or 4 people depending on the tent. Part of the crockery is stored in a picnic basket that you can take with you for your visits and walks.

Organic shower gel and dish soap

The tents are connected to electricity so you can charge your mobile devices. We provide battery-powered lighting for the masts, 2 bedside lamps and a portable, rechargeable lamp.

There is a terrace with chairs and tables next to your tent. This is lit by a solar garland. The area around the tents is also lit by solar lamps.

There is an outside fridge to keep your products cool and an ice-box side table.
